Los Angeles, CA What We DidElms Entertainment supervised and produced the inaugural BET Honors Awards’ red carpet and media room. Filmed on January 12, 2008 the BET Honors Awards glowed with star power in the nation’s capital (Washington D.C.). Luminaries from all walks of life paraded down the red carpet to pay tribute to and celebrate the honorees of 2008. Honorees were Alicia Keys (Entertainment), Tyra Banks (Media), Dr. Cornel West (Inspirational/Education), Richard Parsons (Corporate), the Honorable Maxine Waters (Government) and CEO Janice Bryant Howroyd (Entrepreneur). Live performances and glitzy stars completed the evening with inspiring homage to black leaders. |
